Goodbye and good riddance

.....to January 2007, easily the nastiest month I've had in several years. Between bouts of the flu and the flare-up of an old tendon-inflammation problem, I've had maybe three or four days total this month when I actually felt anything like healthy. Now if I can just get through this last day without attracting any meteors.....

Tendon inflammation? Yowch! I'm so so sorry you've had that, and that you've been feeling crummy. You're in my thoughts, Infidel. I hope things start falling into place and looking up for you.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. I did feel well enough to go back to work today, and found that almost everyone there has been through the same flu hell, some much worse than I. If whatever's going around makes it to your town, stay the heck away from everyone if you can, until it's passed. This thing's nasty.

Yep, my youngest was home for most of last week with it (yet it didn't hit me much), and it seems like everyone we know is missing work days and appointments. Spreading like Captain Tripps from Stephen King's "The Stand," eh? You won't believe this, but while I typed that, the news broke in with a blurb about the flu. So it's time to think positive, orange-juicy thoughts. Bet it felt good to do normal things and to leave the house today. Bet you were missed at work too.
