Preparing for February 11

The next big wave of protests in Iran is expected this Thursday. The theocracy seems a bit nervous.

SJ: As I wrote at the time (here and here) the character of the protests at the end of December showed that the rebellion is escalating. My guess is that there are a lot of very angry people out there. We'll see tomorrow.

TNLib: Thanks for the link. Interesting that the theocracy apparently regards women's-rights activists as such a threat. But of course the people who have the least to lose are the most dangerous to the regime, and being a woman in Iran under the present system can't be much of a life.
